Hallway Bathroom
The goal for this bathroom in our house is to (1) update it, (2) provide more efficient use of the space (i.e. there is no place to hang a towel in there right now) and most importantly (3) to make it accessible for my mom. As my parents age, the bathtub no longer remains a practical option. Here is what the bathroom looks like now. It's dark, the color brown is prevalent everywhere (ugh), and it completely outdated. For a bathroom I love whites, blues, greens, think soothing and clean spa like colors.
So we begin the transformation of this bathroom. Here are some ideas, thoughts and images that have inspired me/us so far. I love this floor (but maybe for the master/primary bath?) Beginning with the flooring in the hallway bath, it must be beautiful but easy to clean and care for.

In the above image, here is one idea for the shower, instead of having a curb to step over, make the shower curbless, pros or cons of this? I like the practical nature of the design but I am not sure if I completely like the look.
1/29/23 update, I still cannot get used to this look, a small curb would be preferred.
Narrowing down the look to just what I want to see in this hallway bathroom...
For the bathroom lighting, we like the Rose City 2-1/4" Fitter Double Sconce from Rejuvenation.

We like this mirror from Pottery Barn, measures 36"W x 24"H (or overall w/ pivot grommets 40"W x 24"H x 3" T).

For the hardware in the hallway bath I found the Mercer Collection at Pottery Barn, I think it would tie in nicely with the rest of the design so far. The Mercer Collection has a Double Towel Bar, a toilet paper holder, a towel ring, grab bars for the shower and one by the toilet (choose from 24", 36" or 48"), cabinet knobs and drawer pulls, single towel bars (18" & 24"), as well as coordinating sconces if we choose to incorporate an alternative to the lighting we chose above. Here are some pictures of the hardware from this collection. Ordering them in Polished Nickel would look really lovely.
Above, I included some vanity layouts we like as well as including a towel bar on the shower door concept.
We would love this nice robe hook that we saw at Ferguson and this is the faucet and sink we chose for reference.

From the above designer's website I found this bathroom floor we really like. I love how the navy penny tile pops!
